The Vision
Our loss of in-person storytelling, our overly busy, distracted, and high-tech lives, is a real problem for many. But God wants to use technology to super-charge our ability for Remembering the Faithfulness of God.
In my 30+ years of being a pastor I have noticed that we have gone from easily remembering all the many ways God has been faithful to us, to not being able to remember hardly any of the ways God has been faithful to us. I have written a book entitled “Walking with God in a World Gone Busy” which details how the shifts in our culture have greatly led to this problem, (I will mail you a copy upon request).
Although things have gotten worse, the problem of remembering God’s faithfulness has existed since the time of Jesus. See the heading “God’s Word” below.
My vision includes giving you the ability to opt-in for short encouraging messages from me, or others who choose to create content, which encourages you to look for, capture, and remember the Faithfulness of God.
If your church or ministry decides to use the app, you can choose them, see their logo, and color scheme. You can also opt-in for short encouraging messages from your church’s or ministry’s content creators. We will not charge your church or ministry for this customization. We exist by donations only. We are dedicated to:
Capturing God’s Faithfulness Realtime and Remembering those Moments for a Lifetime!

Leave a Prompt
A prompt is like a little egg. It can be a picture or a word or a short sentence that reminds you later of the way God showed himself faithful.
Prompts can be quickly made on your phone in real-time. If you choose to opt-in, each prompt will have a day, date, time, place & weather stamp. This will help you to remember the story of God’s faithfulness.
If you are writing a prompt about an event from years ago you can add your own date and time stamps.
Write a Story
When time allows, you can turn your prompts into living stories of God’s faithfulness in your life. These stories are to encourage you in the future. You do not need to worry about being a Pulitzer Prize winner. You will be able to put tags on your stories and earmark them in many different ways. Our powerful search engine will allow you to search for your stories in dozens of ways including, the text, the date, the location, your age at the time of the event, etc.
Make Books
After you have written a number of stories you can organize them into books. For example you can create a book with all of the ways God has shown Himself faithful in your finances. You can create books with stories about God’s faithfulness with your children or family vacations or marriage or church or health or mission trips, etc. Your books can be revisited at any time, and you can share them electronically or print them out to encourage others.
A New Life is Born
I do not like exaggerating about things so what I am about to say is not an exaggeration. If you receive a bad diagnosis or if the dark storm clouds of life start to accumulate on your horizon; spending a few hours or a few days reading all of the ways God has shown Himself faithful will GIVE YOU NEW LIFE!!! We can utilize the habit of carrying a computer phone in our pocket. For the first time in human history we can capture every instance of God’s Faithfulness!
God's Word
Matthew 16:5-12 ESV
When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. Jesus said to them, “Watch and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.” But Jesus, aware of this, said, “O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
The disciples had forgotten to bring bread and were worried about how they would eat. This was because they were not remembering the faithfulness of God. Therefore when Jesus spoke, they were confused about what He was saying. After Jesus reminded them by saying, “Do you not remember…”, the disciples realized, because of the faithfulness of God, they no longer needed to worry about bread. “Then they understood” what Jesus was telling them.
How many times are we worried and confused because we are not remembering the faithfulness of God? The mission of “Remembering The Faithfulness Of God” is to equip every Christian with a tool that allows them to record and remember, in real-time, every instance of God’s faithfulness in their lives.
With your donations, as led by the Lord, the app “Remembering the Faithfulness of God” (RTFOG.com) will be up and live by the holidays.
Why Non-Profit
We are non-profit because we want our efforts to stay focused on serving the body of Christ and not investors or shareholders. We are a non-profit, through my church, until we can secure our own non-profit status. 100% of all donations given to the cause of RTFOG.com will be given to RTFOG.com.

Also, at the beginning of my time in ministry, I ran a men’s homeless shelter, a men’s drug, and alcohol recovery home, and established the first women’s and children’s homeless shelter in Denton County TX. I remember that the men and women I was ministering to thought that poor people could not afford God’s best. They could not afford the concerts, the retreats, the mission trips, the study bibles or so many things other Christians could afford. I determined in my heart that I would always remember the poor and needy in all my endeavors. Everyone will be able to download the RTFOG.com app.
Galatians 2:9-10 CSB
When James, Cephas, and John, those recognized as pillars, acknowledged the grace that had been given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to me and Barnabas, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. They asked only that we would remember the poor, which I had made every effort to do.
Our single goal is to increase the faith of Christians around the world. Our cause will use technology to super-charge our ability for Remembering the Faithfulness of God. Even the poor have web apps they access through public libraries or cell phones in today’s world.
God freely gave me this idea for the benefit of the entire body of Christ. So I am freely offering it to the Body of Christ. We will have bills to pay, but no one will benefit financially from this project beyond paying the workers God is using to make this project come to life.
Why Donations
God knows what we need and how to use the technology of the day, in every generation, for us to live a fulfilling life of faith in relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
When Jesus walked the earth, the Roman roads were seen by many as a problem. They allowed the Roman army to travel very quickly and stomp out people’s attempts to be free. But God used the Roman roads to spread the Gospel throughout the known world in just one generation.
God freely gives us the ideas needed in our generation to live a fulfilling life of faith in relationship with Him. While God freely gives us ideas, we must freely give our time, talent, and money to see these ideas come to life and grow. God wants to work with us not just for us.
The RTFOG.com project was freely given to us to develop so we will freely give the web-app to the body of Christ. Having said that, we need users to freely donate to the RTFOG.com cause for it to come to life, grow and remain for our children and our children’s children.
We are a non-profit, through my church, until we can secure our own non-profit status.
We will not charge for our web-app or any of our services. We need donations to make this happen. All donations will go directly to the development and ongoing operations of RTFOG.com.
When you click the “Donate Now” button you will see the following:
You are in the right place and 100% of your donation will go towards RTFOG.com.
Thank you for your obedience to donate the amount of money God puts on your heart to donate.
